Duke, playing guinea pig for yet another film project!

From my spring quarter b/w film class - finally got around to scanning the prints. Taken with a Nikon N75, Ilford HP5 film. I can't remember the shutter speed, but I do remember that I used f/1.8 on this one.

This is a scan of the film itself, and for some bizarre reason my scanner makes a line in every film scan.

I wonder if you're enjoying
the curvature of her back.
The spine, a row of ossified crowns
crowded and curved around that defining neural superhighway;
that extension cord,
adventurously connecting the visceral
to the peripheral.
The horseshoe crab vertebrae
scuttle to break through skin at your touch;
reach out,
a defining shiver.
I see your hands
around the rounded hills of her shoulders.
Scapulae jutting out with the extremity of the bend,
